Cross Keys Homes is seeking a warm and dedicated care assistant in the Peterborough area to support people in their own homes. This is a permanent role with contracted hours to suit individual needs — either full time or part time. Care is delivered within a 5-mile radius of Peterborough city centre.
No experience is necessary. Cross Keys Homes is focused on values and will provide full training for the role.

What is Domiciliary Care?
Domiciliary care involves providing additional support to people who live independently in their homes. This includes:
Household tasks
Personal care
Social calls
Other required assistance
The goal is to help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.
Main Duties
Personal care including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication monitoring and/or assistance
Social and shopping calls
Meal preparation
Providing the highest quality care in service users’ homes in accordance with their support plans
Being aware of each service user’s needs and requirements, and communicating with families, friends, and healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate records and promptly reporting any changes in service users’ circumstances or condition
In Return
£14.88 per hour (Monday to Friday)
£15.48 per hour (Bank holidays and weekends)
45p per mile for travel expenses
£1.00 per hour for mileage
Full training provided, leading to a Certificate in Care
Free uniform, mobile phone, PPE equipment, and DBS check
28 days paid holidays (including bank holidays)
One additional holiday day per year of service (up to 5 extra days)
£250 refer-a-friend scheme
Completion of Care Certificate within 1 month
Pension scheme: Cross Keys Homes will double the employee’s contribution (up to 10%)
