Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high level of personalised care and support, encouraging customers to live as independently as possible and promoting active support for all.
Assist customers with washing, dressing, bathing, and hygiene.
Administer medication.
Support customers with shopping, cleaning, and laundry tasks.
Help customers arrange and attend appointments (e.g., GP visits).
Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers to prevent social isolation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Promote safe practices and undertake risk assessments.
Provide peace of mind for residents by carrying out night-time security checks and checking on all buildings and residents.
Skills and Experience
Prior experience delivering personal care is desirable.
A kind, caring nature.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs.
Excellent organisational skills.
NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) is desirable.
