Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Medication Management: Prompt or assist in giving medication as prescribed.
Practical Support: Help with meal preparation, light household tasks, and shopping.
Companionship: Provide social interaction and emotional support.
Following Care Plans: Adhere to individual care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and report as required.
Requirements
Experience in domiciliary care settings is essential.
Knowledge of patient care practices and principles.
Reliability and punctuality to ensure consistent care delivery.
Relevant training certification – Care Certificate, NVQ, or other healthcare qualifications.
Excellent communication skills for building rapport with clients and effective collaboration with families and colleagues.
Ability to work independently.
Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and role demands.
