Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Data Analysis & Reporting function within the Analytics and Reporting Team.

  • Oversee the Trust’s Business Intelligence solutions, implementing emerging technologies to improve processes.

  • Manage performance and regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions for national, regional, and financial requirements.

  • Deliver benchmarking reports and custom analysis requests.

  • Support the Deputy Analytics Manager in strategic planning, project prioritisation, and resource allocation.

  • Promote a positive data culture, enhancing staff data literacy across all levels.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to users, influencing organisation-wide use of data.

  • Engage stakeholders and present data in accessible, clear formats.

  • Design and implement an Analytics and Reporting sub-strategy aligned with Trust objectives.

  • Guide staff development and professional registration through bodies such as AphA and BCS.

Person Specification

Qualifications – Essential

  • Honours degree in a numerate discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.

Knowledge – Essential

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office, MS Operating Systems.

  • Expertise in visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Proficiency in statistical packages, programming, or data science tools (SQL, R, Python, Azure Machine Learning).
