Key Duties
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Support chefs and cooks with various cooking tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring utensils and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
Follow food safety regulations in handling, storage, and disposal of food.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and checking stock levels.
Help set up catering events or special functions as required.
Take part in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and kitchen knowledge.
Required Skills
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred (not essential).
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations desirable.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn.
Team player with the ability to take initiative when needed.
Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
