Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Finance Business Partner team covering the division of Surgery for Aneurin Bevan. The role is based at Block 9 on the Royal Gwent Hospital site, with the opportunity to work in an agile manner across all Health Board sites and remotely.

The Divisional Accountant will act as finance lead responsible for several directorates within the surgery division.
Main Duties of the Job
Provide professional financial advice and support to budget holders within the Division/Locality/Directorate to contribute to achieving financial targets.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies that facilitate the achievement of the Health Board’s financial objectives.
Implement an annual budget setting process and provide financial advice to all interested parties.
Work across multiple Health Board sites.
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (CCAB body or CIMA).
Excellent communication skills and significant analytical abilities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
