Main Duties
- Manage and control the delivery of complex digital projects forming part of Digital Response strategic aims.
- Play a pivotal role in the delivery of key strategic digital projects within the Health Community.
- Work as part of the Digital Innovation & Transformation Team.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, organise events or workshops, and ensure successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Lead when appropriate, while being able to work successfully as part of a team.
Note: A project management qualification such as APMP or PRINCE2, or equivalent experience, is required.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Knowledge (Essential)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- APMP / PRINCE2 practitioner or equivalent project management experience
- Postgraduate diploma or experience at equivalent level
- Appreciation of clinicians’ needs in the workplace
- In-depth knowledge of organisational structures and project delegation routes
- Understanding of the Health Board’s area, including social and economic character
- Evidence of further development through education/training
Desirable: MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) practitioner
Experience (Essential)
- Experience at clinical, technical (e.g. Informatics), or managerial level
- Proven record in formal medium-scale project management
- Experience coordinating multi-level/multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of procurement processes, including IT contract negotiations
Language Skills
- Welsh speaker (Level 1) desirable
- English and/or Welsh speakers welcome
