Main Responsibilities
The Senior Business Development Manager will:
Drive strategic partnerships and secure collaborative research income.
Support the University’s growth plans by working closely with academics, external stakeholders, and internal departments.
Develop and deliver research and innovation-related activities.
Lead complex funding bids and enhance the University’s research and enterprise profile.
This position reports directly to the Director of Knowledge Exchange and offers a significant opportunity to shape the future of research and innovation at Aston University.

Proven experience in strategic business development within a research-intensive or higher education setting.
A strong commercial mindset and success in securing large-scale industrial research and innovation funding.
