Duties
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and student goals.
Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure understanding and retention of material.
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and resources for effective teaching strategies.
Requirements
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting.
Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically.
Relevant qualifications in education or a related field would be an advantage but are not mandatory.
