Job Summary
Built Square Ltd is a small, friendly, and professional property development company specialising in revitalising tired and rundown properties.
This role combines two key skill sets: Bookkeeping and Administration. The positions can be performed separately or combined for the right candidate.
The role is fully remote, and training will be provided for any new skills required. Candidates must be self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to manage their time effectively. Pay will reflect experience, and excellent previous references are required.

Bookkeeping Responsibilities
Input invoices and receipts onto Xero.
Produce reports from Xero.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Manage payroll.
Perform bank feed reconciliation.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
Handle trade and supplier accounts and invoices.
Prepare VAT returns.
Prepare CIS returns.
Desirable Skills / Experience as Office Manager
Work with the Project Manager to record and verify employee holidays, working hours, and subcontractor invoices.
Organise marketing materials, business cards, and advertising boards.
Oversee website development.
Manage and improve Outlook operations.
Organise leafletting campaigns.
Oversee recruitment activities.
Write and develop a Procedures Manual.
Contact utility companies to register new accounts, set up direct debits, and manage account closures.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
