Role Overview
Choice Support is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join its small, friendly team, where every day offers something new. The role involves supporting people in engaging activities such as swimming, cooking, and art, while ensuring they enjoy a meaningful and fulfilling daily experience.
One of the individuals supported uses a wheelchair, so assistance with mobility and pushing the wheelchair will be required. The position includes both 1-to-1 and small group support, focusing on creating positive, person-centred interactions.
Location
The service is based on the outskirts of Maidstone town centre, with limited free parking available.
Working Hours
21 hours per week
Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next
Must be available to work every other Saturday
Candidate Requirements
No prior experience required — a caring nature and creative approach are what matter most.
Patience, understanding, and the ability to build positive relationships.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to person-centred support.
Ability to work well within a team and use initiative when necessary.
