Role Details
Schedule: Weekends only (Saturday and Sunday)
Hours: Typically 07:00 – 21:30, with a break in between
Driving Requirement: A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will support service users in their daily lives, including:
Providing companionship
Delivering personal care
Assisting with meal and drink preparation
Supporting with medication
Performing light housework and general support tasks
Accompanying service users on shopping trips, appointments, or social outings (e.g., walks, coffee trips)
Running errands such as collecting prescriptions
This is a domiciliary care position, meaning you will provide care in service users’ own homes. Care is typically provided within one local area per shift—travel to multiple areas is not required.
Candidate Requirements
All applicants must be or have:
Aged 18 or over
Friendly, courteous, and approachable
Reliable and well-organised
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
Successful applicants will be required to complete a CRB check and attend an induction with the company.
