This position reports directly to the Associate Director (Planning and Development) and works closely with the Strategic Communications Team and project leads within the Engagement and Experience Division.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Communications Officer (Projects) will assist in planning and managing projects, programmes, campaigns, and events to support the Trust’s communications and engagement strategy. Key duties include:
Tracking the progress of projects, programmes, and campaigns
Supporting team budget management and procurement
Drafting, editing, and designing communications materials, including training content, marketing collateral, and social media posts
Organising engagement events and supporting training workshops
Conducting research and gathering audience insights
Designing templates and guidance to improve communications across the organisation
Coordinating and supporting projects through design, testing, reporting, and evaluation
Developing project management plans and supporting integrated communications delivery
The post holder will also manage systems and processes to support divisional activities, including event coordination, diary management, budgeting, and database maintenance.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Project management qualification or equivalent experience

Understanding of technology to support project management and planning

NHS or private healthcare experience
