Key Responsibilities
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that enhance quality of life and encourage social interaction.
Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs.
Carry out light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a trusting relationship.
Assist with mobility and heavy lifting while ensuring safety for both the client and yourself.
Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in health or behaviour to the relevant personnel.
Experience and Skills
Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, caregiving, or children’s homes is highly desirable.
Experience in childcare may also be considered an asset for those supporting families or children in need.
