Job Overview
Anglian Care is seeking compassionate and motivated Care Assistants to support people in their own homes. The role involves offering companionship, promoting independence, and providing practical assistance to improve the quality of life for service users.
Pay Breakdown and Shift Patterns
Daytime shifts: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Evening shifts: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Alternate weekend work required
Rates of Pay:
£13.75 (day)
£14.00 (evening)
£14.25 (weekend day)
£14.50 (weekend evening)
Shift patterns can be arranged around your availability.
About the Role
As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide physical, emotional, and social support to adults in their own homes. Duties may include:
Assisting with personal care tasks (eating, drinking, toileting, and bathing)
Supporting medication routines
Helping with domestic tasks
Promoting independence while maintaining dignity and respect

No experience required: Full training provided.
Driving licence: A valid UK licence and own car with business insurance required.
Flexibility: Comfortable working a mix of daytime, evening, and alternate weekend shifts.

Communication skills: Ability to build strong relationships with both colleagues and service users.
