Role Overview
As an A-Level Online Tutor with StudyVista Education, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons designed to help students achieve top grades in their chosen A-Level subjects.
You will provide tailored support for exam preparation, content mastery, and confidence-building in your area(s) of expertise.
This is a fully remote, freelance position, offering flexibility to set your own schedule while making a positive impact on students’ learning and academic progress.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality online lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Provide 1-to-1 sessions, small group lessons, and potentially pre-recorded content.
Develop lesson materials and assign homework (optional, based on client request).
Use online platforms to deliver interactive and engaging sessions.
Track and report on student progress to parents and/or guardians.
Maintain safeguarding standards and follow best practices for online learning.
Requirements (Essential)
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willing to obtain one).
Strong subject knowledge in one of the listed subject offerings.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, reliable approach.
Desirable (Not Essential)
Bachelor’s degree in your subject area, education, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching/tutoring students with special educational needs (SEN).
Previous experience delivering exam preparation sessions.
Safeguarding training.
