Key Duties
Provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while following safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective, individualised care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-treatment care.
Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support informed clinical decisions.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with best practices in nursing care.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting (preferred).
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to medication administration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Compassionate approach to patient care with a strong ethical foundation in nursing practice.
