About the Role
Caring Together Charity is seeking compassionate and caring individuals who want to make a real difference in people’s lives. This opportunity is ideal for anyone passionate about person-centred care — whether experienced in care or completely new to the field.
The charity is proud of its work supporting unpaid carers and is currently looking for warm-hearted care assistants to join its dedicated team. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care and emotional support
Assist individuals and families at short notice when unpaid carers need a break
Support people with daily living tasks, personal care, and home management
Help with leisure activities and interests
Support individuals at home or within the community
Use mobile systems to update care plans and check visit schedules
Signpost individuals and families to relevant support services
Requirements
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
No prior experience needed – a kind and compassionate attitude is key
Understanding of person-centred care principles
Strong communication skills
Comfortable assisting with personal care when required
Able to use a mobile phone for digital care documentation
