Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and/or Science Tutors at KS3 and KS4 to provide personalised educational support to students across. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic journeys by fostering confidence and understanding through tailored instruction. The Tutor will work flexibly to meet the needs of learners, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver customised tutoring sessions to students, focusing on their individual learning goals and needs
Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly
Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development in various subjects
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and educators regarding student progress and areas for improvement
Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
Stay informed about curriculum changes and best practices in specialised education when applicable
Must Hold
QTS
Up to date DBS (not provided by company)
Pay: £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
