- Monitoring Workflow: Use multiple radiology information systems to track study status, escalate issues when needed, and keep the pipeline flowing smoothly.
- Team Coordination: Act as the communication hub between radiologists, technologists, and other clinical team members. If something’s not going right, you’re the first to step in and resolve it.
- Problem-Solving: Identify delays, incorrect study orders, or technical issues and respond accordingly to ensure efficiency and quality of care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of workflow, communications, and system logs to ensure compliance and accountability.
This role requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. It’s perfect for individuals who thrive under pressure and enjoy being the unsung heroes behind the scenes.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting, such as a radiology department, urgent care center, or emergency room.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with multiple platforms and an ability to quickly learn healthcare-specific software like PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of medical and radiology terminology, anatomy, and workflow procedures.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities independently.
- Strong decision-making skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- High degree of professionalism, especially when working remotely.
