Night Shifts: 9:30 pm – 8:00 am

Your role will include helping residents at night with personal care and mobility, preparing the home for the next day, and supporting clients in various ways to ensure their safety and comfort.

  • Pay: £12.70 – £14.30 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.

  • Help residents during the night, getting them to bed and assisting when they wake in the morning.

  • Perform laundry, household cleaning, and kitchen duties as part of night responsibilities.

  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, adhering to dietary requirements.

  • Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in client conditions.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Participate in ongoing training to improve care skills.

  • Foster a warm and supportive environment that encourages engagement and social interaction.

  • Willingness to undergo regular required training.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong English communication skills for effective interaction.

  • Experience or knowledge of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs.

  • Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping related to client care.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.

  • A valid driving licence is preferred.
