About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Designer to join The Set team at Next, working on our womenswear premium range.
Our designers are always looking ahead — spotting trends and pushing boundaries to bring fresh ideas to our customers. In this role, you’ll be:
Creating innovative womenswear designs within the branded licence team
Researching and sharing trend insights with the team and senior stakeholders
Producing elevated designs that align with both brand and customer expectations
Briefing suppliers and maintaining strong relationships
Working closely with Buyers to support the end-to-end design process
Contributing to planning new ranges through to product selection
You’ll be part of a passionate, experienced team that values multi-fabrication knowledge, design innovation, and product elevation.

This full-time position is based at The Barn in Market Harborough, Leicestershire — a creative and collaborative workspace built in 2020, designed to inspire.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience at Designer level in a UK brand, supplier, or high street retailer
Strong background in jersey and woven design
Great taste and passion for trends, with a keen eye for detail and elevation
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to create seasonal trends, tech packs, and designs from concept to final
Excellent communication and presentation skills
