GoodOaks Homecare is currently hiring Care Professionals (part-time or full-time) to join the team in Bournemouth, working around Bournemouth & Poole, to provide quality visiting care to people in their homes. Flexible contracts are available to work around other commitments, such as childcare or studies.

No experience is required. Paid training and detailed support are provided upon joining.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client

  • Provide assistance with daily household tasks and activities

  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, laundry and ironing

  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking

  • Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions

  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming (if required)

  • Monitor medication schedules and remind clients to take their medication (if required)

  • Accompany clients to appointments or social outings (if required)

Candidate Requirements

  • A caring individual with a good work ethic

  • Excellent people and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Professionalism and the ability to treat people with respect

  • Reliability and trustworthiness, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of client information

  • Physical stamina to perform household tasks and assist with personal care

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for work

  • Legal right to work in the UK
