An exciting 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity has arisen for a Senior Digital Project Manager to join the EPR Programme team.

Main Duties of the Job
Work within the EPR Programme to achieve a fully integrated EPR solution by 2027, aiming to be “The Best Digital Service in the NHS”.
Report directly to the EPR Principal Digital Programme Manager.
Deliver digital projects with knowledge of every aspect of the project lifecycle.
Provide project management leadership and expert advice to Project Boards, Project Managers and Project teams.
Ensure best practice, standards, tools, and techniques are in place.
Travel across Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust sites, working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams.
Job Description – Responsibilities
Provide project management expertise and advice within the Directorate/organisation.
Take direct responsibility for a number of projects, from initiation to closure, including high priority/critical projects.
Oversee successful delivery of projects managed by the wider team.
Ensure projects follow PRINCE2 Project Management standards.
Support projects with robust governance structures.
Monitor progress against the original business case and project initiation document.
Adapt plans as needed to deliver on time, to quality, and within budget.
Person Specification
Qualifications – Essential
Masters degree or equivalent.
Formal project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner or MSP Foundation) or substantial project delivery experience.
Qualifications – Desirable
ITIL Foundation qualification.
Experience – Essential
Managing complex, large inter-related projects or substantial clinical experience.
Managing a team.
Using specialist MS Office applications.
Working with colleagues at all levels including clinicians.
Quickly learning unfamiliar technical topics.
