Job Summary
Elysium Healthcare’s Ann House in Kendal is seeking a part-time Kitchen Porter to join the catering team in a calm and enjoyable work environment. The role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and storage areas, and supporting the catering team.

Main Duties
Serve service users, staff, and visitors with food and beverages.
Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation.
Ensure all areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
Take responsibility for the department’s cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Assist with meal preparation and deliveries under the guidance of the Head Chef.
Working Environment
Unlike many kitchen environments, the pace at Ann House is less pressured, allowing for manageable workloads and opportunities for career development. The role also offers regular interaction with people outside the kitchen, adding a social aspect to the position.
Requirements
Essential:
Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
Experience working in a similar role.
