Job Overview
NAC’S WEST CARE LTD is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in home care settings.
This role requires:
Excellent communication skills
A strong understanding of care plans
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
A valid driving licence (preferred) to facilitate travel between clients’ homes
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
Support clients in following their individual care plans
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report changes in condition
Provide companionship and emotional support
Ensure client safety by adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicate regularly with families and healthcare providers
Use IT systems for documentation and communication
Experience & Skills
Preferred but not essential:
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting
Familiarity with care plans and ability to follow them accurately
Strong IT skills for record-keeping
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families
Good command of English for effective communication
