About the Work
The internship involves studying data management techniques for engineering applications under the guidance of team members.
Scope of Work
Perform literature searches on anomaly detection techniques
Methods development – reviewing methods to improve data management and visualization
Develop tools and processes in collaboration with team members and external academic partners
Methods application – supporting the application of relevant methods to engineering projects
Requirements
Post-graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or Data Science
Experience in developing Data Analytics models
Experience with anomaly detection techniques
Strong Python programming skills
Good communication skills
Adaptable team worker, eager to learn and develop
Ability and confidence to work independently
Existing permit to work in the UK

Duration: Up to 12 months
Location: GE Vernova Power, Rugby, Warwickshire (CV21 1BD) – remote working option available
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
