Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals in maintaining independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
Implement and follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behaviour.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations made during shifts.
Drive to various locations for home care services, ensuring safe transportation of clients.
Use IT systems effectively for documentation and communication.
Foster a warm, supportive environment through excellent communication with residents and team members.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting (advantageous but not essential).
A valid driving licence (preferred, for roles involving transportation).
Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Strong IT skills for managing documentation and software applications.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude towards individuals requiring assistance.
