Key Duties
Providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding assistance
Medication administration
Supporting residents with daily activities, hobbies, and outings
Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures
Developing open, honest, and considerate relationships with residents
Maintaining written daily records
Attending and completing required training

Work Location – Parkwood Lodge
Located a mile from Waterlooville and close to Portsmouth city centre, Parkwood Lodge is a large detached home supporting seven men and women with mental health conditions and complex needs, such as schizophrenia, personality disorder, self-harm risk, acquired brain injury, and learning disabilities.
Residents range in age from early twenties to sixty. The experienced team provides 24-hour residential support and day care services, aiming to help residents develop personal and independent living skills for a more independent future.
The Positive Behaviour Support Team works alongside staff to manage behaviours and encourage wellbeing. An Activity Coordinator arranges educational and recreational activities, including:

Pet therapy
Special events (such as the Parkwood Summer Fete)
Individual timetables are tailored to each resident’s preferences and personal development needs. The home also provides its own transport for trips.
