Responsibilities
As a Home Care Assistant, your duties may include:
Providing companionship and engaging in conversation with clients
Assisting with daily household tasks and activities
Performing light housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, laundry, ironing)
Helping with meal preparation and cooking
Running errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions
Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming (if required)
Monitoring medication schedules and reminding clients (if required)
Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings (if required)
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
A caring individual with a good work ethic
Skilled in communication and interpersonal interactions
Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
Professional, respectful, reliable, and trustworthy
Physically capable of performing household tasks and assisting with personal care
In possession of a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
Willing to undertake a CQC DBS check to work with vulnerable adults
Legally authorised to work in the UK
