About the Role
The focus of the Care Assistant role is to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team, ensuring continuity of services for residents.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting residents with personal hygiene care while ensuring independence, dignity, and respect.
Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infections, and escalating risks promptly.
Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
Practising safe systems of work across all tasks.
