Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals in maintaining independence with daily living activities.
Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in residents’ conditions.
Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Ensure a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Drive to various locations as required for home care visits.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
A good command of English is required for effective communication.
Basic IT skills are beneficial for record-keeping and documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and families.
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for home care duties.
