The post holder will support the Project Delivery Manager with delegated responsibility for Capital Projects.
They will develop and maintain good relationships and clear communication with Estate colleagues, Clinicians, Directorate Managers, Senior Managers, and appointed Consultants and Contractors in connection with any project work.

Main Duties of the Job
Management of delegated Capital Projects.
Appointment and management of contract staff delivering capital projects, ensuring compliance with Trust policies (e.g. H&S, HR, GDPR).
Responsibility for Non-Staff Expenditure – Capital Project Budgets up to £5M.

Education & Qualification
Essential:
Educated to Degree level in a Construction or Property Discipline or comparable experience.
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
Desirable:
Working towards chartered status (MCIOB, MRICS, MCIBSE, M.Arb etc.).
Formal Project Management Qualification.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential:
Successful track record in Property Investment and Improvement.
Knowledge in managing clients, contractors, and consultants.
Experience delivering value for money/efficiency-related changes.
Knowledge across the Estates and Facilities Portfolio.
Desirable:
Experience/knowledge of the health service environment.
Experience of leading a team of professionals.
Experience in high-performing teams achieving challenging targets.
