Main Duties of the Job
Business Support
Provide comprehensive business support to the Executive and Non-executive Director Team.
Cover responsibilities with the Corporate Affairs Team, supporting the Director Team and Company Secretary.
Financial Management
Develop and manage budgets for the relevant Director.
Monitor expenditure and ensure cost-effectiveness in service delivery.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts.
Identify and implement efficiency savings in line with NHS financial targets.
Strategic Planning
Contribute to Trust-wide and service-specific strategies.
Support continuous improvement programmes using the HDFT Impact Methodology.
Conduct and support business case development for new initiatives or service redesign.
Analyse data to support planning and improvements.
Operational Management
Line manage and support staff (including recruitment, appraisals, training).
Support workforce planning and role redesign.
Promote staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives in line with KITE Values.

Person Specification
Essential
Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience in a large complex organisation.
Commitment to continuing personal development.
Experience managing budgets and controlling expenditure.
Demonstrable experience leading and managing teams or projects.
Experience developing business plans or strategies.
Experience supporting Directors and Senior Leaders.
Desirable
Training/experience in an NHS environment to post-graduate diploma level or equivalent.
General secretarial qualification or equivalent experience.
