This role is part of the Home Support Service, working mainly in the community in:
Pontefract
Castleford
Featherstone
Crofton areas

Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities to ensure their comfort and safety at home
Provide personal care support, including washing, dressing, continence care, and other tasks
Medication support
Support clients in following tailored care plans
Maintain clear communication with clients and their families, providing updates on care
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition
Drive to clients’ homes as needed, ensuring reliable service
Use IT skills to manage scheduling and documentation
Requirements
Willingness to work within service hours (7am–10pm), including mornings, evenings, alternate weekends, and bank holidays
Enhanced DBS check required
Driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
No previous experience necessary – training provided
Salary and Benefits
Pay: £12.84 per hour (equivalent to £24,704.16 per annum pro rata)
Paid travel time and tax-free mileage expenses (45p per mile)
Salaried positions with contracts up to 25 hours (minimum 16 hours), plus overtime opportunities
5 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays
Paid day off on your birthday (to be taken in the same month)
