Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised care to residents, following individual care plans.
Supervise and support junior staff, offering guidance and leadership.
Maintain accurate records of residents’ progress and changes in health or behaviour.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and medication management.
Drive residents to appointments or social activities, ensuring safety during transport.
Participate in training sessions to remain updated on best practices and IT systems.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a senior care role or similar within a care home environment.
Strong supervisory experience and proven leadership skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective, individualised care plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with residents and families.
Proficient IT skills for record-keeping and software use.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for resident transport.
