Job Summary
AJEB Healthcare Ltd is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide care and support for people in their own homes across Harrogate and the surrounding areas.
The role involves delivering high-quality care that prioritises comfort, dignity, and well-being. Duties include personal care, meal provision, medication support, shopping, domestic tasks, safeguarding, companionship, and helping clients engage with their local communities.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively. Previous experience is not necessary as full training is provided.
Important: As this is a community-based role requiring travel between homes, having your own transport is essential.

Key Duties
Assist residents with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Keep accurate records of care provided and report changes in residents’ conditions.
Ensure cleanliness and safety within the care environment.
Encourage participation in recreational and social activities.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Use IT systems for documentation and communication as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong understanding of care plans.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Basic IT skills for record keeping.
A valid driving licence is preferred.
Caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
