Mindspan Mentors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide educational support to students of various ages. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and the ability to communicate effectively, ensuring each student receives personalised attention tailored to their learning needs. Key Responsibilities
Assess students’ academic needs and create tailored lesson plans.
Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions across various subjects.
Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment to build student confidence.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
Adapt teaching methods for individual learning styles, especially for students with special educational needs.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
Stay updated on educational best practices and contribute ideas for curriculum development.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably tutoring.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with special education practices (desirable but not essential).
A genuine passion for education and helping students reach academic goals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with flexibility in teaching approaches.
Relevant qualifications in education or tutoring (advantageous but not essential).
DBS Check required.
