The Role

Amica Care Trust is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis (weekend availability required).

This role goes beyond preparing meals — it’s about supporting the health, wellbeing, and happiness of residents in a respectful, inclusive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety in line with regulations
  • Assisting with kitchen organisation, stock, cleaning, and setting up service areas
  • Collaborating with care staff to ensure meals support overall wellbeing and routines
  • Creating a warm mealtime experience where residents feel valued and nourished
