Key Duties
Perform duties of a Home Care Assistant to reduce the workload of the scheduling team in line with company policies, procedures, and regulations under the direction of the Registered Manager.
Support a team of Care Workers to deliver a personalised care service of the highest standard.
Provide leadership and supervision to junior care staff within the organisation.
Monitor junior staff routinely to ensure high standards of care.
Maintain ongoing knowledge of the functions and activities of the Care Worker Team.
Work collaboratively to ensure the care service meets organisational standards and codes of conduct.
Support and follow directives from the Registered Manager or Field Supervisor in managing day-to-day team operations.
Skills and Qualifications
Preferably a bachelor’s degree in a medical field such as Nursing or Allied Health (or equivalent).
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or nursing qualifications.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
High integrity, ethics, and flexibility regarding working hours and availability.
Sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable individuals.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow care planning requirements.
Must be an active team player but able to work independently.
Must possess a full UK driving licence and have use of a car (non-drivers will not be considered).
