Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to students’ individual learning needs.
Develop customised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet specific learning objectives.
Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere to help build student confidence and motivation.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and improvement areas.
Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to enhance the overall learning experience.
Essential Skills and Requirements
Must be UK qualified and based in the UK.
Must hold an Enhanced DBS.
Maths and Science specialists required.
Minimum of a UK Bachelor’s degree and PGCE.
Proven tutoring or teaching experience with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective engagement with students and families.
Experience working with children, showing patience and adaptability to various learning styles.
Understanding of special education practices is advantageous.
A genuine passion for education and dedication to inspiring a love of learning in students.
