The Opportunity
Message Direct is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Contact Centre Agents to join its growing team. This role suits individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include managing calls, taking accurate messages, redirecting calls, and booking appointments using external systems. Professionalism, accuracy, and composure under pressure are key to success in this position. The company offers comprehensive in-house training and ongoing professional development within a supportive work environment.
Work Schedule
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: 5 shifts per week (8 hours each)
Days: Monday to Sunday, including 2 weekends out of every 4
Working Hours: Between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM on a rotational basis
Location: Fully remote within the UK
Key Responsibilities
Handle and manage incoming calls using client-specific scripts for a personalized service.
Take accurate messages, redirect calls, and efficiently book appointments through external systems.
Maintain professionalism and composure during challenging or high-pressure calls.
Complete all in-house training programs, including updates and refresher sessions.
Comply with all internal policies, including equal opportunities, health and safety, and company-wide guidelines.
Role Requirements
Previous experience working in a call centre or as a receptionist.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent English grammar.
Proficiency in basic IT skills, including use of laptops and headsets.
Experience in healthcare, medical, or other high-volume receptionist roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with appointment booking systems is beneficial.
