Job Overview
Genesis Orwell Mencap is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the team as Support Workers. Key Responsibilities
Support individuals to take part in various fun and engaging activities.
Provide practical and emotional support based on individual needs.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support individuals with mobility, medication, and healthcare appointments.
Encourage and facilitate social inclusion, hobbies, and community participation.
Promote independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure safeguarding and promote choice, independence, and dignity at all times.
Maintain accurate records and participate in personalised support planning.
