Job Summary
P & N Healthcare Services LTD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Carer/Healthcare Assistant to join its caring and professional team in the Newport/Torfaen area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care to service users within their own homes, supporting them to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
This role involves driving to different service users’ homes throughout the Newport and Torfaen areas to deliver care and support. Duties include assisting with all aspects of daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support, and mobility assistance. The position also requires building trusting relationships with service users, offering companionship and emotional support while ensuring their dignity, safety, and well-being at all times.
This position is vital in helping people maintain their quality of life, independence, and confidence within the comfort of their own home.
Note: Applicants outside the Newport/Torfaen area must be willing to relocate prior to starting this role. Visa sponsorship is available for candidates requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) under the Skilled Worker Visa route; however, applicants must already be residing in the UK to be considered.

Key Duties
Drive to different service users’ homes to provide care and support
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, eating, and medication support
Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
Implement care plans under the supervision of senior or clinical staff
Drive service users to appointments or outings when required
Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users, including light domestic duties
Provide companionship and emotional support to service users and their families
Skills & Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans accurately and responsibly
Valid driving licence
Experience in a care home or home care setting (preferred)
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping
