Role Overview
H&H Care (Dorset) Ltd is seeking Support Workers to join its growing team. The role involves working 6.5 hours per day, 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday). This is an opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives through compassionate and hands-on care.
Responsibilities
Support individuals with daily activities
Provide assistance with eating, personal care, and mobility needs
Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage positive interactions
Offer emotional support and companionship in a nurturing environment
Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions or behaviours
Maintain accurate records of care and observations
Minimum Requirements
Fun, caring, and supportive personality
Friendly and approachable attitude
Right to work in the UK
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn
Enhanced DBS (preferred; can be arranged if not available)
Clean UK driving licence (required)
Own vehicle with business insurance
No formal experience or qualifications required, though preferable
Working Hours
Part-time shifts throughout the week between 9am–4pm
6.5-hour shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays
