About TheTutorCloud
TheTutorCloud, based in Scotland, is an upcoming online peer-to-peer facilitation platform that connects students with tutors and manages all the processes in between. The platform is set for a full launch in early 2026 and is currently seeking its first tutors to pioneer the online system and business model during a trial phase throughout 2025.
The company’s system allows tutors to set availability, prices, and subject offerings, which are then listed on an online portal where students can easily book sessions. Once a booking is made, both tutor and student receive an online meeting invite and are added to a chat room supported by inbuilt AI designed to assist with note-taking and revision.
As this trial phase will help refine the system before the full launch, TheTutorCloud is looking for a small group of tutors to collaborate closely and provide feedback.

Job Summary
This short-term role, with the potential to become long-term, is ideal for SQA Subject N4/N5/Higher Tutors who are passionate about education. Tutors will provide personalised educational support to students while offering feedback on the company’s new online platform.
The position offers flexible working hours, no commission, and access to advanced online tools to support remote teaching.
Key Duties
Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions.
Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
Assess progress and adapt teaching methods for improved comprehension and retention.
Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress.
Update tutoring availability online regularly.
Provide feedback to TheTutorCloud on the online system’s functionality.
Candidate Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills for managing lesson plans and records.
A genuine passion for education and supporting student success.
SQA Higher A grade in chosen subject(s).
Online tutoring experience preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Google Workspace preferred but not required.
