Role Overview
The Trust Business Manager role enables successful teaching and learning across the schools through support to the Executive Headteacher and staff team by:
Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the schools’ office and administration, personnel, premises, business, IT, and support services.
Contributing towards the caring, inclusive, and child-centred ethos of the schools.
Meeting regularly with the Executive Headteacher, SLT, governing body, and other leadership members to provide an overview of key issues related to administration, premises, business, and support service matters.
Identifying priorities and contributing to strategic planning in line with the ethos of the schools and the Schools’ Development Plans.
Managing all administration and site management staff.
What the School Offers
This is a central Trust role providing business management support to schools within the Trust as directed. The successful candidate may be deployed to any of the schools within the Trust as part of the role.
Work may also take place at the Trust Headquarters in central Liverpool or the secondary office in Maghull. The Trust embraces a flexible working model, allowing work from home when desirable and appropriate; however, it is anticipated that most of the time will be spent in schools.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven ability to support school leadership through effective business and administrative management.
Capacity to maintain smooth day-to-day operations and manage multiple support functions.
Strong communication and organisational skills to engage with leadership teams and staff.
Further Information
The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
