Cheshire House Inverness is a home for adults with disabilities, nestled by the River Ness and surrounded by scenic parkland. Located within walking distance of the city centre, it offers a warm, welcoming, and family-like environment that focuses on supporting residents to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Working Hours
Leonard Cheshire offers flexible work options to fit various lifestyles, including both full-time and part-time positions.
Typical Shift Patterns:
Day Shifts: 7.30am – 3.30pm
Late Shifts: 2.00pm – 10.00pm or 2.30pm – 10.30pm
Mid Shifts: 10.00am – 7.00pm
Sleepovers: 10.00pm – 7.00am (optional overtime)
Flexibility to work between 7.30am and 10.30pm and on alternating weekends as part of a rota is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication.
Encourage independence using a person-centred approach.
Accompany residents to appointments, events, and community activities.
Maintain accurate and detailed records.
Help each person live life on their own terms.
No previous care experience is required — full training will be provided.

Previous personal care experience (helpful but not essential).
