Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor individualised care plans for service users, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
Supervise and manage care staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high care standards.
Conduct regular assessments of residents’ health and wellbeing, updating care plans when necessary.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care, including medication protocols.
Promote an environment of dignity, respect, and independence among residents.
Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive care.
Provide staff training and development opportunities, especially in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Proven experience in a management role within assisted living or nursing home settings.
Strong background in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Nursing qualifications or equivalent healthcare experience (highly desirable).
Demonstrated ability to create and manage personalised care plans.
Experience supervising staff and encouraging teamwork.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to compassionate care.
