We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets using SQL and other data analysis tools.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights effectively.

  • Support project management activities related to data projects, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with SDLC principles.

  • Assist in the design and optimisation of databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and business analysis techniques.

  • Write scripts in R, Python, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) to automate data processing tasks.

  • Contribute to the realisation of business analysis objectives by interpreting data trends and providing actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver customised solutions using Visio for process mapping.

  • Maintain documentation related to database design, analysis procedures, and project workflows.

Experience

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R, or Python is desirable.

  • Basic understanding of SQL databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies as they relate to data projects.

  • Experience with business analysis techniques and database design principles is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in VBA or Bash scripting will be considered a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
